Established in 1962, the “Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée Alsace” (Label of Quality Controlled from Alsace) applies to wines originating from land plots that have been subject to a rigorous and precise delimitation, inspired by historical production cores.  This denomination gathers different soils, leaving room for more varietal expression in deeper soils.

At the Domaine André REGIN, we grow different varieties following this classification.  This choice is mainly due to a desire of favoring the effect of the grape variety on these wines.
